last night, after everyone was tucked into bed, my seven year old came out holding a tooth.

i didn’t even know he had a loose tooth.

he is now missing four front teeth. it’s the cutest thing ever!

and i’m not biased.

at all.

i’ve been working hard on the photography workshop.

we have a name, we have a date, we have fabulous handmade shops donating fabulous items and so much more! tickets will be available for purchase in just a few weeks.

i’ve thought more about my post the other day. a lot about it.

natasha gave me an idea. a fun idea.

what if we each did an {unofficial} race the week my optional races are scheduled. each participant will either need to blog about their race or share it on daily mile or some other site that’s similar and then come back here and leave a comment with a link.

everyone who leaves a comment with a link will be entered to win something fun.

i haven’t decided what that fun thing will be yet.

but, it will be fun.

because i’m giving it away.

and i’m fun.

right?

anybody can join in. if you want to walk, walk/jog, run, sprint . . . whatever.

thoughts? interested?

if so, that will provide enough motivation for me to push myself ~ knowing that many of you are out there pushing yourselves, too.

p. s. sometimes i really feel sorry for y’all. my thoughts come out in such a disorganized crazy mess. ::snort::

just another {random} monday

yesterday was such a beautiful day.

we went bike riding, which explains the awesome rolled jeans look. my jeans always want to get caught in the chain. pesky little things.

some of the family went rollerblading, too.

personally, i don’t touch the roller blades anymore. ever.

we also fit in some time for swinging.

swinging is just plain fun, dontcha know?

i tested out my new shoes saturday. i did some power walking for my cross training that day. i foolishly thought i could power walk 12-minute miles no problem.

feel free to laugh.

i ended up walking three miles at a little over 14 minutes per mile. and i was bookin’ it!

my shins hurt saturday night.

and yesterday.

and today. mmmkay?

i tried the sock-bun-curls method saturday night. i should have taken a picture.

i looked like a cross between a sumo wrestler and a ballerina. not a good look for me. just sayin’.

why did a naturally curly haired girl want to try this?

i dunno.

i’m weird.

i felt like i had a borderline headache all night because of that sock bun on my head and my head was tender pretty much all day yesterday. ouch. maybe i did it too tight?

i wasn’t too crazy about how the curls looked.
