Big Dam Bridge 100 & Shooting for 600

The big race my man has been training for is finally here. Tomorrow morning is the big day. A couple of weeks ago when he did a smaller race in preparation for this one, it rained the entire time. He finished in about 3 1/2 hours and was soaked to the bone! Earlier this week, our local meteorologist was calling for a 70% chance of rain tomorrow. Thankfully, it’s back down to only a 10% chance. Fingers crossed for clear skies.

Early tomorrow morning, I’m going to drag my derriere out of bed and attempt a nine mile run with our local running group. As of this morning, after my girl and I did our six mile training run for St. Jude’s 1/2, I’m at 591 miles for the year. I’d really like to see a nice round number . . . . like say, 600. We’ll see how it goes. I may wimp out.

Hope y’all have a great weekend! xo

  1. 600 miles for the year! That’s crazy wild! Map it out to see where you’d end up if you started at your back door. Here’s hoping it won’t rain tomorrow.
