Note: If it looks like this is a post about my husband’s forearms, it’s not my fault. The blame lies with my camera. Entirely. ::ahem::
Apparently, weight matters in cycling.
How much the seat weighs, how much the tires weigh, how much the bike itself weighs, how much the pedals weigh, and on and on and on.
The heavier your bike is the harder you have to work to propel yourself forward, so the lighter the better.
Do I sound like I know what I’m talking about?
My man just switched out his pedals, which I already thought were super-dee-duper light, for some carbon pedals he found on sale for a great deal.
The carbon pedal is the one he’s holding that’s a lighter gray. I was amazed at how light it was.
P. S. I should take a picture of my bike sometime. My seat has it’s own suspension system. ::snort:: Not. Joking. That bad boy is huuuuuuuge.
P. P. S. Have any of y’all been following the Tour de France?
