I’m doing something wild and cuh-razy today. I’m linking up with Jeannett over at Life Rearranged, who just had a darling baby boy a few days ago.
If you follow me on instagram, this post will probably bore you.
Actually, even if you don’t follow me on instagram, this post will probably bore you.

The man and I went out for a quick dinner date last Friday. We went to a local Irish Pub. I wanted to go there for one main reason . . . . and it wasn’t the food. Guinness Extra Stout on tap? Yes, please.

Last Saturday, I ran with our local run club.
It was fun to look back at my six mile training run for the Bentonville Half-Marathon. I did that run on January 27 of this year.
My time: 01:14:30
My pace: 12:24
I shaved off over ten minutes from my time. Sweet!

Our old friends and neighbors from our last assignment stayed over Tuesday night on their way to a conference. After they left, we talked about what a sweet, spiritual aroma they had brought into our home. Their visit was such a blessing to our whole family.
Carol and I squeezed in a little run early the next morning before they got back on the road. I loved it!

Yes, that is frozen cookie dough. Carol brought three baggies full for me. She makes the best cookies!
Here’s the thing, y’all.
Frozen cookie dough is not a deterrent for me. It’s an enticement. True story.
I will not comment on how many cookie dough balls I ate. Mmmmkay?

you definitely have a wide variety of friends! i can honestly say that i have never had a friend come visit and then we went for a quick run before they left.
