This isn’t a drill. I repeat. This isn’t a drill.

I was snapping some photos of the crew this morning after I finished our combined schooling and while hubby was doing some French instruction. Important side-note: When my man speaks French, it’s sexy. That is all.

All of a sudden, I heard him say, “Dude. We’re not having an air raid drill. Get out from under your desk.”

I just about slobbered all over myself from laughing so hard. I’m still laughing.

How was your extended weekend? Did you go somewhere? Hang out at home? Are you sorry it’s over?

So cute! When my son was 2 I once found him asleep on top of a hamper in that exact same position.

I’m very sad to have the weekend over. I didn’t do anything special, just prepared for our new school year. Happy Back-to-School Day! Do you think we’re the only ones to start this late? : )

Bahaaa! That’s great, I’m sure he could have easily told you he was pretending he was Jack Bauer hiding from some terrorist, maybe that would have worked. No. It would not have. Jack Bauer does not HIDE from terrorists, he runs and attacks them all while so masculinely wearing his man purse.

Danielle, Danielle, Danielle . . . . girl! Jack Bauer would never hide under a desk. The terrorist would be hiding under the desk from Jack! *snort*

Of course he wouldn’t hide…he looks more like President logan…just needs some serious bags under his eyes.

LOL! One of my absolute favorite scenes from all the seasons, was in the last season when Jack was coming down the tunnel dressed in all-black and Logan kept saying, “That’s Jack Bauer! Don’t just sit there! He’s comin’ for me!”

LOL! It does remind of me of air raid and earthquake (in California) drills in elementary school. Thanks for the laugh!

We had to explain to the crew what an air raid is. They had no idea why I was laughing so hard.

  4. Too funny… and cute, all the same. Just a random thought… Is there a French word for ‘dude’? ;) Love that your hubs helps with the schooling. Impressive. Just sayin’.

Hmmm . . . . I’ll have to ask the French teacher. He wishes he could help out more than he already does. I do, too! *snort* Actually, I’m really thankful he’s so involved.

My weekend was crazy with an extra 5 kids staying the night last minute… and we were all still on time for Sunday School on Sun morning, thankyouverymuch. *patting myself on the back*

Didn’t really do anything special, just some school and stuff. Lots of rain today. I really like our regularly scheduled weekly programming. The routine of it all make me {heart} my family and time at home with them.

    Ooooo la la! French huh?

Anyway, that pic was soooooooo funny. We actually should practice some earthquake drills here since it’s a very real possibility that we could have one at any time.

As for the weekend? We really didn’t do much. We hung out, played some Wii, watched some football and went to the State Fair on Monday. The fair was…eh…. alright. We went during the time of day where the pictures wouldn’t be too exciting. I actually have one picture that I need to run by Marsha to see how offensive she thinks it is. :P
