It’s been a very long time since I’ve stumbled across a book I could describe as lovely and just plain delightful. So many times while reading this little gem, I would burst out with a school-girl giggle or grab my laptop to Google something I’d never heard of or simply close my eyes and imagine what it would have been like.
It was the summer of 1945.
Two young ladies from the University of Iowa decided to spend the summer working in New York City.
In Tiffany. {Feel free to insert dreamy sigh here.}
This book gives a glimpse of that far off summer.
Summer at Tiffany. Read it. I believe you’ll be just as enchanted as I was.
* After reading this book, I’m even more excited about my trip with my manly man to New York City. A trip by Tiffany & Co. is definitely in order!
** The link to Amazon is an affiliate link. If you end up purchasing the book, I earn about a penny. Or half a penny. Or somethin’ like that.

Alrighty so I’ve got to ask…
1. suggestive language?
2. foul language?
3. anything you might not want your kids reading?
Now, I’m simply asking for *my* sake
as I LOVE to read and I am always looking for good books, this one sounds lovely! I’d love the heads up though pretty please

There is absolutely no foul language. There is one scene in the book in which they discuss one of their friends who “went all the way”, but won’t say who it was. All of the girls discussing it are still pure, but it’s discussed in such a way that they’re all giggling and enjoying the gossip. Not sure I’d want my 11 year old daughter reading that part of the book ~ not that she would even understand the slang, but . . . still.
Overall, I would say it depends on the age and maturity of your children.

Thank you for your reply <3
I don't have kids ^_^ I just keep my standard that way… LOL!!! If I wouldn't let my imaginary kids read it (or watch it) then I won't take part in it either
Just a little sensitive to language is all. Again, a gazillion thank you's. I can't wait to go pick it up. Might even try and find it today!

I really want to read this book now. Sounds lovely!
When I was in NYC I went to Tiffany and it was probably one of the most lovely experiences of my life, honestly.
It’s just such a stunning, beautiful place.
By the way, I’m coming here from Leigh-Ann’s blog about her sponsor giveaway.
Your camera straps are absolutely the cutest!
When I get my new camera, I fully intend to purchase one. : )
Hey, maybe I’ll win one, too! Crossing my fingers…

So, I just looked at your etsy shop and am thinking that I will definitely have to get the blue serenity ruffled camera strap for someone for Christmas or I don’t know, maybe the lavender daydreams or french roast! Its almost impossible to choose. Perhaps I will win the big giveaway and then I could win one & then buy another!
Your items are so unique and would put a smile on any photographers face!

I just found you…I hopped over from Freckled Nest—I love your banner! I am easily sold on books because of their covers. Shallow I know, but I don’t care!
This one is really pretty. That watermelon sorbet camera strap is my favorite so far. Glad to see on your most recent post that your husband made it home safe and sound.
