My SIL did a double take when I told her I really wanted to visit the fabric store while I was in town. She lurves me so much though, she told me about a 2-story fabric store we could visit.
Gasp.
2-stories? For reals?
“Can we go, Mom? Can we go? Can we? Can we? Can we? Please, please, please? Puh-leeze?”
I was really needing to look for the yellow fabric I use for the Lemon Drop. I can’t find it at any local fabric stores. I can’t find it on-line. I can’t find it here. I can’t find it there. I can’t find it anywhere! This is kinda spelling the doom of the Lemon Drop. Right now, I officially have enough fabric left for six more camera strap covers.
They didn’t have any of the yellow fabric. None. Weep.
Moving on. Back to the gigantic fabric store.

We walked in to see an escalator. Big deal. An escalator. I see those things all the time.

Oh, look. An elevator. In a fabric store. Humph. I bet they have those in every fabric store.

“Hello, down there.”

“Hello, out there. Come. To. Momma.”

“Hello, fabric bokeh.”
It turns out we visited the largest Jo-Ann Fabric Store in the world. The world. {I felt it was worth repeating.}
Then, we went here:

And I ate this. Every last bite of it.
And yes, I unbuttoned my pants on the ride home, but that can just be our little secret.

but did you find lemon drop fabric? you left us in suspense.

Send me a good picture of the lemon drop material and I’ll look in at Jo Ann Fabrics here. We don’t have 2-story stores but we do have Jo Ann Fabrics.

Wowzers! I can take you to our little JoAnn’s Fabric Store. It packs quite the punch for such a little place. It is my favorito!
Egads on that cheesecake! I. {heart}. cheesecake.
In your honor, I am going off of my diet for the next 3 days. The sacrifices I make for my friends.

Okay, you lost me at the fabric store! But I’m glad you found me at The Cheesecake Factory! I agree Talysa, a red velvet camera strap would be delicious, but how would you keep the icing from sliding off?
Once again, a fun filled day in the life of Ruthanne!

It’s a good thing I don’t have any Cheesecake Factories anywhere within a 100-mile radius.

Most times I feel like a nut. It’s the only way to roll, baby.

Being the non-crafty, barely a seamstress- type person that I am, I’d have to say the Cheesecake Factory would get me much more excited.
