Raising boys.
It’s an adventure.
It fills up my days and squeezes my heart.
It tests my patience and inspires my creativity.
Raising boys.
It’s a journey.
It makes me laugh out loud and assaults my senses.
Literally. You all know what I’m talkin’ about.
Raising boys.
It stretches me.
It teaches me. It forces me to press on.
It gives me both joy and heart break.
Raising boys ~ It causes my cup to overflow.

Your photo is awesome!! I’m recalling the freckles on my own son’s face when he was that age… precious memories! Your poem almost brought me to tears (in a good way). I’m saving it in my files so I can reflect on it when I’m having “one of those days”! Thanks for posting it

I cool is it that we have the same name?!
I haven’t never come across anyone with the same exact spelling. This is weird.

Wow, he’s just adorable, great picture. If it makes you feel any better I raised 5 sons! Yep, you read that right. I survived and now I’m a grammy to 3 beautiful little girls and a precious grandSON.
It is a journey, one I would never trade for anything in the world!
Blessings~

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I have sensible, rational, sweet-smelling boys who do everything I say and never complain, squabble, steal toys or talk back.
