Hello Ruthanne, I am loving your blog. I just spent far to long reading through a bunch of posts. I have a few questions for you and wondered if you’d make the time to answer. I have Brian Petersens Understanding Digital Photography. I have read some of it, but wondered it the Understanding Exposure is that much better and it if is worth getting. Also, I wondered what camera you use. I am trying to decide on what lens to buy and was hoping to get advice from a Canon owner. I love your photography. I was thinking the same thing about going through my mind what pictures will look like before I take them of someone. I am such a newbie with the DSLR. In fact, I recently got mine, and before that had a point and shoot. I took horrible pictures. I knew almost nothing about photography. Now I am moving towards obsessed. A friend has asked me to take senior pictures of her son in June and I’m sweating. I’m sure it is because i have the nicest camera of all her friends! But little does she know I have no idea what I am doing. Anyhow, just wanted to meet you. I’m friends with Marsha (happy to say IRL, since I had the good fortune of meeting her) and Melissa S (chickadee) however not IRL. Thanks a bunch. Oh, I subscribed and have you in my google reader now.
