Look, y’all . . .
We finally got some of the white stuff. Now, don’t laugh when you see how much. Be nice.

We Southerners have a tendency to get over excited about these things.

The woods surrounding our house always look so forlorn during winter.

The snow seems to have spruced things up. Or at least changed the scenery a bit.

All crew members are thoroughly enjoying themselves.
Me? I went out long enough to snap some pictures, promptly came back in to thaw-out in front of the fire and haven’t done much since.

Coming tonight for us. 7-10 inches. very exciting

hey, you have more snow than we do!
i think that if it’s going to be booty freezing cold, then it might as well have a beautiful blanket of white over it. better to be cold and pretty than cold and ugly!

How sweet. Everyone looks nice and warm in their coats! I do thinks its cute that southerners get so excited about flurries! I wish I could get that excited about snow, but I’m originally from chicago. this time of the year, I am sooo happy i am in Texas, where it hardly EVER snows!
But once in a while it is nice to see some snow on the ground.
btw, I don’t know where else to comment about this but I LOVE your pictures under “the way i roll” they are too cute!

I just followed A Familiar Path’s link to your blog. I love it! Living in Colorado, what I would give for a nice, snow-less winter. I guess the grass is greener….right?
