Snow Days {Continued}

In between my last post and this one, we’ve received more snow and some of the slick stuff. Living in the south, that pretty much shuts down all activity on the roadways. So, here it is Sunday and I have zero milk in my house. Zilch. I can already see my crew withering away without their daily dose of calcium. It’s dire, I tell ya. ;-)

Hubby scoured the attic this morning looking for anything that could be used as a sled. He came down with the lid to an old toy box.

It worked like a charm.

Uh.

Hellllooo, there.

Excuse me. I need to wipe up the slobber off my keyboard.

I love it when he looks at me like that. :-)

Have a blessed Sunday, y’all!

Our {Once a Year} Treat

Look, y’all . . .

We finally got some of the white stuff. Now, don’t laugh when you see how much. Be nice.

We Southerners have a tendency to get over excited about these things.

The woods surrounding our house always look so forlorn during winter.

The snow seems to have spruced things up. Or at least changed the scenery a bit.

All crew members are thoroughly enjoying themselves.

Me? I went out long enough to snap some pictures, promptly came back in to thaw-out in front of the fire and haven’t done much since. ;-)
