Worth the Climb

Thank you to all of you who left a comment on my last post. My heart was so blessed by each one of you. Truly.

Yesterday, hubby was off work and we decided to climb one of our local mountains {Keep in mind I’m in Arkansas, so when I say mountain ~ I really mean “big hill”}.

About 1/2 way up, I was really questioning my bright idea because (a) my lungs were screaming at me, (b) my thighs were shaking and (c) I’m afraid of heights {like really, really afraid}.

Thankfully, I discovered the view from the top was worth the climb.

The crew did a fabulous job keeping up. {Who am I kidding? I was trying to keep up with them!}

We did have a few attitude problems out of a certain crew member. I won’t name names.

    beautiful! I wish we had "mountains" of any kind down here… you know how it is… flat and sandy. Everywhere. LOL

    At the bottom of your post it has pics of other posts we might like… there is one for "Coach Buck's Sauce" and I swear I thought that was a picture of teeth. HAHA!

    OH! Pinnacle Mountain, I miss you! The only "mountain" I will ever willingly climb (because you don't need special gear!).

    I would totally give your little troublemaker a piggyback ride to the top. And I hate heights too. Torture would be taking me to the Grand Canyon.
