~ Betty Crocker’s Best of Healthy and Hearty Cooking
1 pound extra-lean ground beef
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Shape mixture into 4 patties, each 1/2 inch thick.
Grill until desired doneness.
Bagels are not required, but highly recommended. ;D
Butter the insides of each bagel slice and throw them on the grill the last few minutes the patties are cooking ~ just until toasted.
