When I went to whip up those chocolate chip cookies for the crew, I was inspired to do something a little different.
Have you ever been to The American Cookie Company?
Sigh. They offer these over-the-top treats called Double Doozies.
So good. So, so good. I’m talking so good that you feel like you just might get sick from the goodness.
Yep. That good.
And something inside you says, “I better not eat this whole thing.”
But, you just can’t help yourself.
That’s why all these little, delectable goodies will be going with the crew and not with me in the van.
I can just imagine hours on end in the van and popping in one after another. None of my clothes would fit by the time I got to Cincinnati!
Just in case you feel like whipping up some of this goodness, here’s the recipe:
Quick White Icing
~ Joy of Cooking
4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 to 6 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
Mix sugar and butter on medium speed. Add in milk, vanilla and salt and beat until smooth.
